Green Revolution Cooling, Inc. Completes Initial Capital Raise

Austin, Texas (PRWEB) August 13, 2009 — Green Revolution Cooling, Inc. (GR Cooling) today announced that it has completed its initial round of fundraising. The capital infusion allows GR Cooling to complete product development of its mineral oil submersion computer cooling system by the end of 2009 and have customer-ready units by Q1 2010.
The EPA estimates that data center cooling will increase from 0.15% of US electricity in 2000 to nearly 1% by 2011 as more computing resources are needed. IT research firm Gartner says, “(Data Center) power and cooling is a pandemic in the world of the data center.” GR Cooling is focused on eliminating 90% of the energy problem in a cost-effective manner.
Christiaan Best, Chief Technology Officer, said, “We are extremely pleased to have the runway to be able to solve the remaining technical issues and have a fully functional and customer-ready product soon.” Funds will be used to hire additional engineers and acquire capital equipment.
