The Expo will take place November 28 – 29, 2009 in Punta Gorda, Florida at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center and will include exhibits, demos, as well as links to the local green community. The Expo will cover a diverse range of environmental issues, including green homes, nutrition, outdoor lifestyle, green transportation, green building and construction, and green clothing and consumer goods.

The Greening Journey Expo is launching at a time when the environmental consciousness and habits of Americans are increasing. In a March survey, research firm GfK Roper Consulting found that more Americans are including environmental issues in their family discussions and plans, including 86 percent who have recycling plans and discussions, 79 percent who focus on conserving energy, and 76 percent who place water conservation as an important family goal.
