Application process

Grant applications are considered and awarded on an annual basis. Only those grants which are complete with a proposal and supporting documents will be considered. The decision making process will target those projects which exhibit the following:

1. Impact on society and/or scientific contribution
2. Measurable results
3. Reasonable timeline
4. Advance our organization’s vision
5. Demonstrate potential to develop into multiple projects
6. Leverage support from other resources

If you are unsure that your proposal fits the scope of our projects, then we encourage you to submit a cover letter and one page summary describing your project. We will contact you if a complete proposal is warranted.

Proposal Guidelines

Although the format is not fixed, completed proposals should include:

1. An application form as the cover page
2. A statement describing the project scope and goals
3. Strategy including key project challenges and risks
4. Anticipated results with a discussion of how the project is different from other
5. Project timeline
6. Budget, including a list of all resources and any plans to secure additional funding
7. Supporting documents
a. Curriculum vitae or resume of the principle investigator or key persons involved with the project
b. Proof of tax-exempt status
c. List of relevant publications
