Saving on supplies to become a green business and appreciating your employees
March 27th, 2008 by Alternative Energy FoundationA big waste in any company is the styrofoam or paper cups that businesses have out for their employees to drink their coffee or water throughout the day. I’ve been inside many different businesses that have their entire trash can filled with these cups.
Buying these products adds up over the course of a year. Most companies would see a drop in their costs AND become more green if they purchased cups for their employees or had their employees bring in their own cups.
One company that I know of bought 150 mugs for their employees and personalized each one of them with the employees name.
All of the employees were really happy with their mugs as well as it made them feel appreciated by the company.
